Caree Martens has been a donor and volunteer for the Israel Idonije Foundation for several years. Team IIF is so grateful for her continued support. She offered these responses when reflecting on her decision to support IIF.
Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I grew up in the north suburbs and now live in Wicker Park. I went to undergrad in Minnesota and graduate school in Chicago. I am an Facilities/Office Manager for a large insurance company in the Loop.
How did you first hear about the Israel Idonije Foundation?
I learned about IIF through International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and long time IIF supporter Marie Coffee. I was on the executive board of IFMA and Marie brought IIF to the board to get interest in supporting IIF.
Marie Coffee is a long-time donor and volunteer for the Israel Idonije Foundation. In recognition of her continued support of the foundation, IIF asked her to reflect on her experiences as a volunteer for the Foundation.
